Stockholm Cup – A beginner competition for children and youth white-orange with green marking (not green belt and above)

U9 (born 2018-2020) Floating weight classes. Mixed groups. Match time 2 min

U11 (born 2016-2017) Floating weight classes. Mixed groups. Match time 2 min

Girls U13 (born 2014-2015) Floating weight classes. Match time 3 min

Boys U13 (born 2014-2015) Floating weight classes. Match time 3 min

Competition Rules: According to IJF competition rules and SJF competition regulations. Insurance according to SJF's group insurance.

Stockholm Cup Competition System: The competition takes place in pools of 3-5 participants, which means 2-4 matches per child.

Double entries allowed for those that are in the last year for U9 & U11.

Times

Weigh-in 9:00-9:45 Competition start: 10:00

Dress Code/Attire

We allow competitors in blue judo gi, but if possible white gi is strongly preferred. If coming with a blue gi, one should be aware that it will be more complicated as a change of sides may need to occur at match start.

A white shirt may be worn under the gi.

Long hair must be put up above the collar of the jacket. No hard parts are allowed in hair arrangements.

Other Information

The competition runs on two mats which means that limitations on the number of entries will occur, first come first served. Registration for this competition means that you accept that photographs will be taken and published on the internet.
