PEAK GRAPPLING FALL BRAWL Dawsons Creek (1.5) 2026

• Youth / Juvenile/ Adult tournament with Tag teams and KUMITE brackets.

• Kids matches will run for 3 minutes in length. Youth 12-15 years of age 4 minute rounds, juveniles 5 minutes.

• We will be following the IBJJF attack rules in regular bracketed divisions as well as our KUMITE divisions. Kids KUMITE divisions are sub only within 3 mins, dual round elimination.

• Door opens for competitor weigh in at 8:00am. Athletes meeting begins at 830am

• Competition starts at 9 am.

• Automatic discounts are applied at checkout for double/ triple division/ quadruple registrations.

• PEAK ALLOWS A 1 LB. WEIGHT ALLOWANCE FOR ALL YOUTH registered into the tournament.

• There will be Kids/ Youth Tag Team Kumite for this event. 3 vs 3 (Co-Ed optional for those under 11) for a total combined weight. See Registration description for details. Registration is dependant on final format and will determine the feasibility of the brackets as for adults, reach out to us and we can discuss details regarding weight limitations for your teams.

• There is no weight allowance for adults. Being over the weight that you are registered into will result in immediate disqualification unless you were specifically moved into a category to find matches.

Spectator Entry Fees

$15 per person (pre- purchased tickets online) for those 12 years of age and up and $10 per child 5- 11 years of age.

1 parent will be allowed to enter FREE with the registration of up to 2 children who are under 10 years old.

Family spectator entry rate up to 5 people $50.00

Only 1 parent or 1 coach will be allowed in warm up area/ coaches chair to support their athletes. Wrist bands will be provided at check-in.

Failure to download the free coaches will result in paid entry. An additional coach may be granted free entry depending on how many athletes they have competing in the event. Please reach out for more details.

• ***Where your chosen category cannot be accommodated, you will be moved to the next most suitable available category. For, Junior & Juveniles, this may mean moving up/ down an age group, up a weight or in some circumstances, merging Male and Female categories into a mixed category***

• For the Youth competitors: NO Arm triangles, no Guillotines, no Anaconda/ D'arce chokes, no Ezekiels and no Triangle without an arm in, are prohibited. In the event that a kid executes an illegal attack, they will receive a warning as well as a penalty. The second offence will result in an automatic DQ.

• ILLEGAL MOVES THAT WILL RESULT IN AUTOMATIC DISQUALIFICATION: SCISSOR TAKE DOWNS, SLAMMING, NECK CRANKS.

• All the competitors must wear uniform according to IBJJF guidelines.

• ALL kids are allowed to wear rash guards for this competition.

• Nogi shorts/ compression pants must NOT have any type of pockets as they pose risks to all athletes.

• Submissions will be allowed in all age groups/ brackets. Athletes must comply with IBJJF kids rules.

• All BJJ Brown and Black belts compete on the PEAK platform for an additional $20 OFF. Email us for the coupon code.

Lost or unclaimed medals will NOT be mailed out to athletes. It is your responsibility to claim and place your medals in a safe place.

Special Awards: We will award Fastest Submission Awards to the podium finishing athletes who submit their opponents with the fastest times as well as well as our prestigious "Heart" awards which is presented to the athletes that display the courage it takes to persevere on the mats and of course the Grit Awards for those that show the will that's required to get it done.
