Event Information

• Tournament Date: September 26, 2026
• Peewee Division Competitors and One Parent Only Doors Open: 7:00 am
• Doors Open to the Public: 7:30 am
• Tournament Begins: 8:00 am

Registration Details

• Registration Opens: May 5, 2026
• Divisions: Single Elimination
• Ages: 4 to 17 years old
• Belts: White through Purple
• Weight: Ensure your child is weighed for correct division placement

Gender and Division Policy

• Gender: Male and female for all age divisions. Co-ed matches are allowed when necessary. Females do not need permission to enter a division.
• Division Adjustments: There will be no one-person division. Competitors can move up by age, weight, and/or belt with parent/guardian permission. If no immediate division is available, we will find the closest division and contact the parent/guardian for approval.

UPDATED YOUTH AGE DIVISION SYSTEM

We will also be updating our youth division age structure.

Previously, divisions were determined by the athlete’s age on the day of the tournament.

Moving forward, youth divisions will now be based on the athlete’s birth year instead.

This adjustment helps align our tournament structure more closely with many major national and international grappling organizations.

NEW REGISTRATION TIER SYSTEM

Beginning with upcoming Patgon Jiu Jitsu Tournament events, we will officially implement a Registration Tier System.

This new system is designed to help us:

• Better forecast athlete participation
• Improve event scheduling and staffing
• Prepare divisions more efficiently
• Secure venue and operational requirements earlier
• Reward early registration and commitment

PHASE I REGISTRATION

Athlete Count: 1–50

• GI: $60
• NO-GI: $60
• COMBO (GI + NO-GI): $100

Athlete Count: 51–100

• GI: $70
• NO-GI: $70
• COMBO (GI + NO-GI): $120

PHASE II REGISTRATION

Athlete Count: 101–150

• GI: $80
• NO-GI: $80
• COMBO (GI + NO-GI): $140

Athlete Count: 151–200

• GI: $90
• NO-GI: $90
• COMBO (GI + NO-GI): $160

PHASE III REGISTRATION

Athlete Count: 201–250

• GI: $100
• NO-GI: $100
• COMBO (GI + NO-GI): $180

Athlete Count: 251+

• GI: $110
• NO-GI: $110
• COMBO (GI + NO-GI): $200

Combo Discount

Athletes registering for both GI and NO-GI divisions will continue receiving a $20 Combo Discount.

Competitor Benefits

• Fully registered competitors have access to free/discounted workshops by local businesses.

Spectator Information

• General Admission: E-tickets available for purchase through GuamTime by May 30, 2026.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

1. No Refunds Post-Registration: This policy ensures a well-organized and high-quality tournament experience.
2. Match Guarantee Exception: Full refund if your child does not have a match on the event day.
