Arvika Judo Cup 2026

Judo Arvika would like to welcome you to Arvika Judo Cup 2026 on 12th of September 2026. Competition for U11, U13, U15, U18 & U21. All matches will be live-streamed. AJC is a Level B. competition open for international competitors from the Nordics and Europe with a focus in connecting Norwegian and Swedish judokas. Last year, we had many clubs from Norway competing and we are aiming for 50% norwegian and international participations. AJC is a tournament which together with SM (National Championship) is among a few selected competitions in Sweden, the basis for the ranking list in U18 and U21.

Please see the schedules and timings below for the entire weekend: Arvika Judo Cup, Camp and Wermland Judo Games. Block 1. end time and Block 2 start and end time is tentative and purely estimated and will depend on number of entries and legth of fights.

Note: U11 will be on Sunday 13th of September and run simultaneously with Wermland Judo Games 2026 (WJG). Hence, there will be two separate U11 categories on Sunday. AJC U11 (Advanced) and WJG U11 (Beginners).

DOUBLE ENTRIES

Double entry is allowed for all categories in Arvika Judo Cup 2026.

U11, U13, U15, U18 & U21 are allowed double entries.

Final year's U11 may double without dispense to U13. Final year's U13 may double without dispense to U15. Final year's U15 may double to U18 without dispense. All U18 may double to U21. NORMAL REGISTRATION

1st of January 2026 – 4th of September August 2026.

NOTE: Max limit on participants during AJC and we will close registations when full. (WJG during sunday will have a max limit on 150 registrations) so max capacity will be 450 in total throughout the entire weekend.

LATE REGISTRATION

5th September - 12th of September 2026 and kr. 150+ in fees

ENTRY FEES ARVIKA JUDO CUP

Single-entry fee of 300 SEK per athlete (late entry fee 450 SEK).

Double-entry fee 450 SEK per athlete for 2 classes (late entry fee 600 SEK).

10 persons - 10% discount

15 persons - 15% discount

20 persons - 20% discount

21 persons or more - 30% discount

BELT GRADE REQUIREMENT

A minimum of 5 kyu is required for U11, U13 & U15. A minimum of 4 kyu is required for U18 & U21.

TRANSPORTATION

According to the Contest Rules, Organization Code, and Sporting Code of the Swedish Judo Federation (www.judo.se), the competition will be conducted. Swedish Judo Federation is a member of EJU and IJF.

Friday 11th of September 18:00-21:00 (All weight-classes) Note: Weigh-In is allowed for Wermland Judo Games 2026.

Saturday 12th of September 07:00-08:30 (U11, U13, U18) and 08:45-10:15 (U11, U15 & U21)

No second weigh-in for those who do double entries. Note: Weigh-In is not allowed for Wermland Judo Games 2026.

Sunday 13th of September 08:00-9:30 (AJC U11) and WJG all classes.

AJC MINI-CAMP

Sunday:

08:30 -10:30 Randori & Technical sessions with Ida Eriksson & Lars Eriksson.

Arvika Judo Cup 2025 is followed by AJC MINI CAMP a training camp for all ages. The camp is a mix of Randori Sessions and Technical Sessions.

Many of you know Lars as a coach for the Värmland-Örebro district team in the National Judo Championships together with Mattias Petersson from Frövi Judo. Others know Lars as the father and coach of Ida Eriksson with podium finishes from the Grand Slam and World Championships. Ida is also now aiming for the Olympics for Los Angeles 2028 together with Tara. They are both born & raised in Värmland!

WERMLAND JUDO GAMES 2026

Sunday:

11:00-15:30 AJC U11 & Wemland Judo Games

WJG is an entry-level compettion for beginners of all belt-grades and ages. U9-Senior. Arvika Judo Cup U11 will be running simultaneously in Block 1. 11:00-13:00.
