First-Ever K-1 Rules Tournament in Western Canada

ISKA Canada is proud to present the first-ever K-1 Rules Tournament in Western Canada, featuring male and female competitors in all weight divisions.

This historic event will showcase amateur K-1 Rules competition under the regulations of ISKA Canada and the British Columbia Athletic Commission (BCAC).

Eligibility Requirements

All participants must:

• Be 18 years of age or older on the day of competition.
• Hold a current ISKA Canada membership.
• Be registered with the British Columbia Athletic Commission (BCAC) as an amateur contestant.
• Complete all required BCAC licensing, medical, and safety requirements.
• Register through Smoothcomp before the registration deadline.
• Follow all ISKA Canada and BCAC rules and regulations.

Mandatory Registration Process

Step 1 – BCAC Registration

All athletes must register with the British Columbia Athletic Commission (BCAC) and complete all required contestant licensing and medical requirements.

(If you are already registered with the BC Athletic Commission as an amateur contestant and hold a valid license, you do not need to register again)

Step 2 – ISKA Canada Membership

All athletes must obtain a valid ISKA Canada membership before entering the tournament.

( If you are already a registered athlete with ISKA Canada and your membership is still valid, there is no need to re-register with ISKA Canada)

Step 3 – Smoothcomp Registration

After completing Steps 1 and 2, athletes may register for the event through Smoothcomp.

(Please ensure that both your BC Athletic Commission license and ISKA Canada membership are current and valid before the event)

Mandatory Weigh-In, Medical Check & Final Registration

Date: Friday, November 27, 2026

Time: 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM

Golden Glory Martial Arts Academy

All competitors are required to attend the official event check-in.

The following will take place during this session:

• Official Weigh-In
• Medical Examination
• Final Athlete Registration Verification
• License and Documentation Review

Attendance is mandatory for all competitors. Any athlete who fails to attend the official weigh-in, medical check, and registration process may not be permitted to compete.

This event will be conducted in accordance with:

• ISKA Canada Amateur K-1 Rules
• British Columbia Athletic Commission Regulations
• All applicable safety, medical, and competition requirements

Athletes and coaches are responsible for reviewing and understanding all event rules prior to registration.

Space is limited, and divisions may be capped. Early registration is strongly encouraged.

General Admission: $50 per person limited seats.

We encourage spectators to purchase tickets early, as seating is limited and this historic event is expected to attract athletes, coaches, families, and fans from across British Columbia and Canada.

For athletes, coaches, officials, and guests traveling from outside the area, ISKA Canada has arranged a special accommodation rate with the Best Western Peace Arch Inn.
