Men's & Women's Absolute Divisions

Absolute Division Rules
- Match Length: 6 Minutes
- First 3 Minutes:Submission OnlyNo Points
- Submission Only
- No Points
- Final 3 Minutes Points Become Active
- If no submission occurs, the competitor with the highest point total at the end of regulation is declared the winner.
Youth Rules
Match Length
- Ages 4–9: 3 Minutes
- Ages 10–15: 4 Minutes
- Ages 16–17: 5 Minutes

Stalling
- 1st Offense – Verbal Warning
- 2nd Offense – Opponent receives 2 points

Youth Safety Rules
- A coach or parent may verbally tap for their child.
- Referees may stop a submission before a tap if they believe the athlete is in danger.
- Accidental illegal techniques generally result in a reset unless the move was intentional or reckless.
