Competition Format

This year's Championship will feature two different competitions, allowing everyone to compete according to their objectives.

You are free to register for:

• The Round Robin Tournament only.
• The Absolute Championship only.
• Or both competitions.

Participation in the Round Robin Tournament is not required to enter the Absolute Championship.

1. Round Robin Tournament

Open to all competitors.

The tournament will follow a Round Robin format, meaning every athlete faces every other athlete in their division, guaranteeing multiple matches (up to 5 depending on the number of participants).

Divisions

Beginner: White Belt Intermediate: Blue Belt Advanced: Purple Belt and above

Women's divisions

• Light: -61 kg
• Heavy: +61 kg

Men's divisions

• Feather: -67.5 kg
• Light: -73.5 kg
• Middle: -79.5 kg
• Medium Heavy: -85.5 kg
• Heavy: -91.5 kg
• Super Heavy: -97.5 kg
• Ultra Heavy: No weight limit

2. Absolute Championship

For those looking for an extra challenge, an Absolute Championship will also be held.

Divisions

• White Belt under 80 kg
• White Belt over 80 kg
• Blue Belt under 80 kg
• Blue Belt over 80 kg

Additional entry fee: €50

Payment

Communication: Name of fighter – Absolute – Belt – Weight

Cash Prize

The winner of each Absolute division will receive €30 for every registered competitor in their category.

Examples:

• 8 competitors → Winner receives €240
• 10 competitors → Winner receives €300
• 12 competitors → Winner receives €360

The winner will also receive free gear.

Rules

• IBJJF No-Gi Rules.
• For Advanced divisions, the lower belt competitor may choose the applicable rule set.
• Any disrespectful behaviour may result in immediate disqualification.

Registration

Registration deadline: October 13 – 11:59 PM

Round Robin Entry Fee

• €30 until August 15
• €40 from August 16 until October 13

Absolute Championship Entry

Participation in the Absolute Championship requires an additional €50 entry fee, regardless of when you register.

If you enter both competitions, you must pay the Round Robin registration fee + €50 for the Absolute Championship.

Please specify "Absolute" in the bank transfer communication if you are also registering for the Absolute Championship.

Prizes
