Dear Taekwondo students, families and clubs,

Power with Purpose Taekwondo warmly invites you to the 2026 Western Sydney Hanmadang - our third annual Taekwondo festival and the most exciting yet.

Translated as “Taekwondo Festival”, Hanmadang is our opportunity to celebrate everything that makes this martial art extraordinary. This year, we have expanded the competition to include two brand-new events - High Jump Kick and Flying Side Kick - alongside our returning favourites, giving competitors more opportunities than ever to showcase their skills and go for gold.

For the first time, we are also introducing the Hanmadang Champion - an overall title awarded to the most well-rounded competitor across all championship events throughout the day. It is a fitting recognition of the dedication it takes to excel across multiple disciplines.

As always, we open our doors beyond the Power with Purpose community and warmly welcome competitors from other clubs and schools to join us. The more participants we have, the more exciting the event and the stronger the competition, the more meaningful the achievement of earning a medal.
