ROGUE Grappling Season 6 continues! Join us at Ecole Le Sommet in Moncton, NB for our 24th Open event as we continue the quest for the Season 6 Grand Prix crown! SPECTATORS - PLEASE NOTE: To help us contend with the volume of crowds and ongoing maintenance of the venue, we will need to hire additional custodial support. All spectators ASIDE FROM COACHES and YOUTH UNDER 10 years old will be required to pay a $10 spectator fee. This is CASH ONLY. There is a maximum of 3 Coaches per club, so Clubs - please coordinate amongst yourselves for who will be attending as a Coach on your behalf. Rules (Gi) - Please note, we'll be following IBJJF Scoring (no advantages) and permissible techniques Kids are available for Gi and NoGi brackets, Adults are in the Gi.

Kids divisions, 7 years old and Under - no submissions permitted; points only. No body triangle for control or submission.

Kids divisions, 9 years old and Under - IBJJF legal submissions for kids under 12. No body triangle for control or submission. Kids divisions, 10 - 12 years old - IBJJF legal submissions for kids under 12. No body triangle for control or submission. Kids and Youth divisions, 13 - 15 years old - IBJJF legal submissions for kids/youth under 15. No body triangle for control or submission.

Kids and Youth divisions, 16 - 17 years old - IBJJF legal submissions for kids/youth under 17. No body triangle for control or submission.

*** Adult, White Belt - IBJJF legal submissions for White Adult, Blue and Purple - IBJJF legal submission for Blue and Purple Adult, Brown and Black - All IBJJF legal submissions for Brown and Black except heel hooks. Knee reaping is permitted for sweep and position. All Divisions - No slams. No scissor takedown from standing. No jumping guard. No spinal manipulation. In the case of draw, matches will be decided by official's decision. In the event of a Round Robin bracket with a tie, the tie breaker will be decided by victories by submissions, followed by fastest submission, followed by point spread, followed by ref's decision. ALL BRACKETS: No jumping guard. No scissor takedowns from standing. No slams. No small joint manipulation. No heel hooks. No spinal manipulation. No neck cranks.

Match Length Kids and Youth - 3 minutes Adults - 5 minutes Absolute - 5 minutes Kids divisions will compete first, followed by Adult advanced belts, Adult beginner belts and ending with Absolutes. Registration, Pricing and Weigh Ins Weigh ins will be done in your competition clothing. Failure to make weight could result in a disqualification without refund. Please note that divisions may be combined or created depending on registrants at any given weight division or experience level. Divisions will be grouped together as close as possible by weight and experience level and are dependent on registrations. We do allow a 1 lbs. weight allowance. If you are competing in Gi and NoGi you can weigh in wearing your NoGi attire. WE HAVE HAD FAR TOO MANY ATHLETES arriving well over their registered weight. Coaches and Parents, weight divisions are not "guesses" - you need to weigh your students and ensure they are registered at the correct weight. It is unreasonable to expect us to make everyone wait in line while we fix your bracket because you arrived over your division maximum. We will not be adjusting weight brackets the morning of the competition for people who are coming in overweight. YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED without refund. Early Registration starts June 8th 2026 @ 9h and continues through September 20th, 2026 at 23h59. Late Registration starts September 21st, 2026 @ midnight and continues through September 23rd, 2026 @ midnight. Weigh Ins will run from 8h30 through 10h, Kids matches will begin at 9h30. SPECIAL EARLY BIRD - registrations received before August 2nd, 2026 will have an extra $10 savings compared to regular registration rates! Kids and Youth, Early Registration (Gi or NoGi)- $65. Late registration $75. Kids and Youth, Early Registration (if doing both) - $100. Late registration $120. Adult Male, Early Registration - $80. Late registration $90. Adult Female, Early Registration - $50. Late registration $55. Absolute - $20. Please note you must be registered for your division to be eligible to compete in the Absolute. You do not need to medal, but you need to compete in your regular weight/division to be eligible for the Absolute. PLEASE NOTE - MALE ABSOLUTE: White belts will not be permitted to compete in the Absolute without prior permission. If you are an experienced Grappler (ie. Judo, Wrestling) but a white belt in BJJ, please message us in advance of registration. As it stands, the Male Absolute is only open to Blue belts or higher. Registering for the Absolute bracket is your confirmation you meet these criteria. Failing to adhere to this rule may result in disqualification. FEMALE ABSOLUTE is open to all experience levels. To receive the discounted pricing you must have the divisions you want to compete in in your cart at the time of checkout.

Refund Policy We will offer a 100% refund for cancellations received until February 15h, 2026 @ 23h59, after which a 75% refund will apply for cancellations received by February 18th, 2026 at 20h. If you do not have someone in your division or weight category, we will gladly offer you a full refund if we cannot find a suitable bracket for you to compete in. YOUR BEST BET for a division is to register early - let other people see you are planning to complete! There's no risk to you as if we cannot find you a suitable bracket, you will be issued a full refund with no additional questions asked. PLEASE NOTE - we cap our event participation somewhere in the ~280 registrant range. Having your name in a bracket but unpaid DOES NOT guarantee you a spot. You need to have paid for your registration to be considered a registered competitor. Covid Policy If Covid or other Public Health measure requires this event be cancelled for any reason, a 100% refund will apply.
