Price: $30 per division (Gi & No Gi) ($25 early bird - $35 Late Rego)

Registration: Closes August 2nd. This competition is available for MJJA, Space BJJ, Port Stephens BJJ and FLUX Jiu Jitsu current members only as a part of our interclub inhouse competition schedule.

RULES and GUIDELINES

Scoring and legal technique lists have been circulated to all participating clubs. Please reach out to your coaches for details.

The event is largely using grappling industries ruleset with some minor modifications for legal and illegal techniques.

POINTS

All matches will be first half no points, second half of match points will then commence.

We will be following grappling industries point scoring system - major points only (no advantages)

SUB ONLY SUPER CHALLENGE

We will also be holding a sub only super challenge for this event. 3 divisions (Mens over and under 85kg and ladies open weight)

Single elimination with some sweet prizes and loot up for grabs too - stay tuned for announcements on this.

5 minute matches sub only - if there is no submission it will go to a referees decision whereby sub attempts will be weighted highest (depending upon severity and progression of the submission) followed by positional dominance.

DIVISION MERGERS

We'll do our best to keep competitors in their original divisions. However, if a division only has one participant, we’ll merge it with the closest appropriate division—based on age, weight, and skill level. All merges will be carefully reviewed and approved by our coaching team to ensure fair and safe matches.

KIDS & WHITE BELTS

Beginner - 6 months or less.

Intermediate - 6 - 12 months of training.

Advanced - 12+ months of training

BLUE BELT & ABOVE

Please register under advanced. Divisions may be merged depending on registrations.

ALL COMPETITORS WILL HAVE A MINIMUM OF TWO MATCHES PER DIVISION. MOST DIVISION WILL BE A DOUBLE ELIMINATION REPECHARGE FORMAT.

WEIGH-INS

✔ Please weigh your child with the GI on before registering.

✔ All competitors must weigh in again on the day, anytime from gym opening until 30 minutes before their division starts.
