Today is your lucky day, and yes, we’re finally offering the 10 km of Fontenay! This is where you wonder, what is that again? Well, it’s simple: a friendly race in the heart of Fontenay-sous-Bois in the Val-de-Marne in the Île-de-France region, very close to Paris! 🤩 We’re starting to know runners like you; you’re probably wondering what formats are on offer to help you pick your pace.
The Fontenay 10 km has three options: the light starter with 2 km as a family 👫 (free, to take it easy), the day’s dish with the 5 km to test your speed without collapsing, and of course the big piece: the 10 km, two 5 km laps for the more ambitious 🥩. The start is on Avenue des Olympiades and the finish on Avenue Charles-Garcia 🙌, so you’ll see the city pass by twice, just to make sure you’ve had a good look between breaths 👅. If you’re in the mood to indulge after the effort, why not do a little shopping? 🛍️ The Val de Fontenay Shopping Center has plenty of shops and restaurants for every taste 🍝. But you can also ease those sore muscles with a stroll through its streets! 🏃♀️ Otherwise, just a few kilometers away, you can explore the “City of Light” 🕯️, where you’ll find all kinds of must-see activities such as a visit to the Château de Vincennes, a stroll through Champs-Élysées, the Louvre or a trip to the top of the Eiffel Tower 🗝️.
