Discover the 10 km of Fréjus, a late-afternoon race that takes advantage of the idyllic coastal setting and a spectacular sunset. A well-known, flat course from Base nature to the sea, passing through Port-Fréjus 1 and 2, then the historic surroundings of Fréjus with the aqueduct, the arenas and the theater, before returning to the base. At the finish, enjoy anchoïade and varoi wine by the Mediterranean.

Want to run in front of a dreamlike setting ? Along the seafront, enjoy a stunning sunset as you take on the 10 km of Fréjus. The twilight will be your best friend! The event takes place in June, it’s not too late to shape your summer-ready body. You’ll be able to train your muscles to become nicely defined, all in a true summer setting in the Var (Provence-Alpes-C Côte d’Azur). Enough to make you want to stay on the beach, sneakers fanned out. 🏖
Running when temperatures are high is no easy feat, which is why the race is held at sunset to make the most of the last rays of sun, to treat your eyes. Plus, lucky you, we can imagine there will be no clouds to disturb you. 🌅
On 2 kilometers for the little ones, and on 5 or 10 kilometers for the big ones, on a gentle rolling course, you’ll discover the secrets of Fréjusfamous seaside resort at the foot of the Roman ruins of the Roman aqueduct, of the amphitheaters or the famous Fréjus Theatre. The Base Nature de Fréjus is both the start and finish of the race. Your strides will take you along the seafront, passing through the Port-Fréjus 1 district. The Mediterranean will witness your efforts! The Algerian boulevards and La Libération will be traversed toward the sea on the outbound run and toward shops on the return. Very handy for choosing the terrace where you’ll do your cooldown 😬 ! After a turn to admire the new Port-Fréjus 2 basin, you’ll pass by the Forum Theatre to head back to base and finish the loop properly. 👌
When you reach the finish line, it’ll be time to pause and recharge with a tasty anchovy served with a glass of Var wine. 🍷
At the 10km of Fréjus, you’ll be king of the Var! 😉
