Courez dans le berceau des Jeux olympiques à Olimpia. Cet événement propose marathon (42 km), semi-marathon, 10 km et des courses familiales, avec départ et arrivée en plein centre de l’Olympie antique. Après l’effort, explorez les sites historiques comme la piste de l’ancien stade, le temple de Zeus et le musée archéologique, puis partez vers Katakolo ou les gorges de Lousios.
Courez là où le sport est né ! Olympia Marathon est une course unique au berceau des Jeux olympiques. Vous avez le choix entre des distances allant du marathon (42 km) et du semi-marathon à une rapide « dix bornes » (10 km), ainsi que des courses familiales. Le départ et l’arrivée se trouvent en plein centre de l’Olympie antique 🏃🏛️.
Après la course, la région d’Ilia vous invite à un moment de détente historique et à la grecque ! Tenez-vous sur la piste de l’ancien stade datant de 776 av. J.-C. et admirez les ruines du temple de Zeus 🏛️. Ensuite, visitez le musée archéologique d’Olympie avec la célèbre statue d’Hermès 🏺. Et pour finir, partez en excursion vers la petite ville côtière Katakolo ou à l’intérieur des terres vers le spectaculaire gorges de Lousios 🏞️.
En fin de journée, commandez du cochon de lait rôti (Gourounopoula), une salade à la feta et aux olives, ainsi que le dessert Galaktoboureko, le tout accompagné d’un vin local du Péloponnèse 🍷.
