Terrain-wise, we’re far from smooth coastal bike paths ❌. Here you’ll weave through deep forests of the Parc naturel régional du Livradois Forez, which hides exceptional natural wonders such as the mires, heathsmountain heaths,alluvial forests,natural prairies, and many watercourses...💧 It’s a setting that evokes grand cinematic crossings 🎥. Whether you’re a street-pounding roadie on rolling backroads or a gravel junkie on steep forest trails, variety is the name of the game 🤪. But note, elevation gain is a constant “peace judge”: the grades are steep and your gear must be ready to handle the percentages without flinching ⚙️. We’re here for an autonomous experience (e-bikes stay in the garage! ⚡️). No big crowds here (yes, it’s capped at 50 people maximum 😊), but a community of enthusiasts who push their limits in a preserved setting 🤝. Unless you’re a Superman, you won’t do 350 km in one go ❌. You’re free to book accommodation in advance with the organizer’s help, or find it as you go along in your adventure. Camping might sting in October! 🥶 You’ve probably guessed: this event isn’t a race, but an epic in nature, at your own pace without stopwatch pressure ⏳, so zeeeeeen 🧘.

After the effort, it’s time to unwind and explore the surroundings. Located at the heart of the Puy-de-Dôme, Ambert lets you discover hidden natural gems 💎. You can pick up at the edge of the Lac d'Aydat, visit La Chaise-Dieu and its old town, and even a trip to Vulcania, the volcano-themed amusement park ☄️. We highly recommend wrapping up your adventure with a delicious truffade, and the trip is pure bliss 🧀.
