Do you love running in the city? 🏙️ Then don't miss the chance to take part in Déci'Run! 🏃‍♂️ A unique event happening in the month of April in Décines-Charpieu, in the heart 💙 of the department of Rhône. Three events are on the program: road runs 12 km and 28 km, and even a 5 km that you can complete by walking 🚶 and non-timed! ⏱️ This last event will also be open to para-swimmers 🤗. So, whatever your level, you’ll surely find the right fit for you! 👟

With nearly 1,600 participants in 2024 🤯, the race has found its audience and becomes a true calendar highlight in Décines! 🗓️ The event conveys positive values around sport 🏋️, wellbeing, sociability 🍻, inclusivity and solidarity 🤝 (2€ per bib bought goes to UNICEF)UNICEF). It's therefore an opportunity to push yourself for your own sake 💪, but also for others by supporting a charitable cause 👍. Décines-Charpieu isn't just a perfect city for running 🥰, it's also a place where nature and urban planning 🏢 live in perfect harmony ✨. The race partly takes place in the city, but also in an incredible public park, ideal for pushing yourself while enjoying a great view of the surrounding vegetation and lakes 🌳. Indeed, it's time to talk about what awaits on the courses! 😎 Let’s start by introducing the smallest circuit 👶. The "5 of the heart" 💘, accessible to all 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦, including people with disabilities (who can also run the event in a handcycle 🦽), will take you through the streets of downtown Décines. Its older siblings 🧒, the 12 and 28, for their part, have gone big! 😯 These 100% Décines colors will take you to the banks of the Canal de Jonage but especially to the heart of the Groupama Stadium, home of the LDLC Arena and the All In Academy of Tennis! 😍 These events will let you tread on the grass 🏟️ of the players of the Olympique Lyonnais for a 1 km 🦁. However, the largest race in the family, the 28 km, will also take you onto a whole other turf 🌿: that of the Grand Parc Miribel Jonage! 😁 During 13 km, you will be immersed 🤿 in this preserved greenery 😌.

After crossing the finish line of the Déci'Run 🏁, you can keep celebrating your victory 🏆 thanks to the refreshment stand 🍟. The organizers and the approximately 120 volunteers will be present to ensure a crazy atmosphere 🥳 and lift the déci'bels 😜. Beyond the race, Décines-Charpieu and its region Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, have a lot to offer you 🎁. Why not take the time to visit the magnificent Parc de Miribel-Jonage, or the Parc de la Tête d'Or in Lyon, one of the largest urban parks in France? 🌲 Sports enthusiasts will surely enjoy a deeper visit to the Groupama Stadium, home of the Olympique Lyonnais ⚽. And if you’re a bit hungry after the race 😋, there’s no shortage of specialties in the gastronomy capital ! 🍲 You can head to the old town ⛪ and sample the renowned dishes, Lyonnais bouchons! 🤤
