We’re back for an event that will give you chills (and not from the November weather 🥶). Welcome to Give me FIV, the very first France-based race dedicated to Medically Assisted Procreation (MAP). It takes place at the Parc de Parilly, between Vénissieux and Bron, in the metropolitan area of Lyon, in the region Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes ⛰️. It’s far more than a competition; it's an unprecedented movement to break taboos and run for those who are fighting to bring life 👶. But really, what does FIV mean? Fécondation In Vitro! 🤓 You’ve probably guessed it's a medically assisted procreation technique🤰. Now that you know everything, we’re inviting you to this unique event.

Here, every step has a real impact: for each solo registration, €5 is donated to the Fondation HCL (Hospices Civils de Lyon), and for each duo, €12 goes directly to supporting concrete projects at the HFME's reproduction department 👏. For this grand premiere, the program is designed so everyone can take part, regardless of their cardio level or where they are in the journey 🫀. The routes wind through the wooded paths of the Parc de Parilly, offering a calming, green setting for this solidarity endurance event 🌳. You can choose to start as a Solo to carry your own message, or as a Duo to share this moment with a loved one, a friend, or your partner 🤝. The symbolism is strong: like in MAP, the race is a path of patience, but here we cross the finish line together to break the silence and breathe with full lungs 🌬️. Whether you’re there to perform or for a symbolic walk, the important thing is to proudly wear the colors of this fight for life 🌈.

Once you cross the finish line and the emotions settle, take the chance to be in Lyon for a delicious recovery! Jump on the metro toward the Old Lyon to wander through the traboules and admire the Renaissance architecture 🏰. To recharge (because running for life is exhausting! 😋), head to a true Lyonnais Bouchon to indulge in a local specialty or a praline tart 🍽️. If you still have energy, a stroll along the Rhone banks or a climb up Fourvière for a panoramic view of the City of Light will finish your day beautifully 🌃.
