Want to run in Japan in May? In Osaka, in the Yodogawa district, take part in the Yodogawa Eco Marathon with the half marathon, the 10 km timed race, and a 5 km parent-child race. Start at 11:00 near the Yodo River, flat and fast course suitable for beginners and seasoned runners alike. Limited to 300 participants and charitable registration through donations to Second Harvest Japan, an organization supporting food aid.
Have you always dreamed of running in the land of the rising sun? 🌅 In May, pack your bags 🧳, you’re invited to the Japan 🇯🇵, in the Osaka Prefecture, in the Yodogawa district for the Yodogawa Eco Marathon 🏃♀️.
If you’re more of a solo runner 🧍♂️, come run the semi-marathon or the 10 km timed run, or if you prefer a family-friendly running event 🧑🧑🧒🧒, a 5 km parent-child race is organized. The start time for the races is 11:00 sharp 🕚, in the heart of Osaka, along the Yodo River. You’ll follow its bed along the bike path 🚴♂️. With a flat, easy, fast course ⚡️, the race is open to both beginner runners and seasoned runners looking to beat their personal best 💪. The participant cap is 300 participants, so you won’t have to elbow through at the start 😝.
With several other sporting events organized, especially in the prefectures of Saitama, Osaka, Hiroshima, Kyoto and Kumamoto (but mainly in Tokyo 🌸) the Ecomarathon aims to be an environmentally conscious event 🌳 and committed to various causes 🎗️. This year, you can donate to the International Refugee Support Association : Second Harvest Japan. As Japan’s first food bank, the organization is dedicated to ensuring everyone has access to food 🍲.
The city of Osaka has a complex history, but it has evolved and reinvented itself over the years while remaining a central and important city in the country. It is a very touristy destinationthat blends traditional culture with modern vibes 🎐.
