After four editions that left you gasping with pleasure… here comes the fifth at last. And this year, beware… we change the scenery and raise the stakes in temptation: “Rocco at the nuns.” Yes, the Trail of the 50 Nuances des Grées returns more sultry than ever and invites you to a brand-new starting site: the former convent of Bodelio. A place rich in history, in silence… and soon in athletic moans. For this 5th edition, forget quiet contemplation: here we come to suffer with pleasure. 4 routes, 4 chances to succumb: 8 km for beginners, 14 km for the women and men, 19 km for those who like it long, 27 km for the hardiest… and the least well-behaved. On the programme: ascents that bring you to your knees, descents that heat things up, winding paths conducive to closeness, cheeky passages, wild animations, and always that deliciously offbeat vibe that makes the trail famous. This year, the Grées will echo with prayers, cries of effort and fits of laughter. The nuns had better beware… Rocco is coming. So block off your Saturday, train your calves, polish your sneakers and come experience something as intense as it is spiritual. 50 Nuances des Grées — 5th edition. This unique running event takes place in Malansac, a charming small town in the department of Morbihan, in Brittany. You’ll have the chance to lose yourself in the lush greens of the surrounding nature while testing your limits 🍃.
The race offers three courses: 9 km, 14 km and 27 km. Note, it’s no stroll in the park! The courses run through forests and promise tough climbs that will challenge your calves. Plus, there are kids & juniors routes available, making this event a wonderful family experience 👨👩👧👦.
But the experience doesn’t stop at the finish line! After you’ve sweated and perhaps struggled a bit (but for a good cause), you’ll get to enjoy the local riches 😃.
Indeed, within an hour of Malansac, you’ll find incredible places to visit such as Rochefort-en-Terre, voted the most beautiful village in France, to stroll its medieval streets or the Parc de Préhistoire de Bretagne, for a trip back in time with the dinosaurs 🦖.
And for outdoor enthusiasts, you can try sailing or kayaking on the Lac au Duc, the largest natural lake in Brittany 🚣♀️. And why not plan a romantic getaway on the Île de Gavrinis, famed for its cairn, an exceptional megalithic monument 🏝.
