Do you still have a little space in your trail calendar for a rather quirky race? 🤪 Then mark your April on the calendar for the 4th edition of the Trail des 6 heures de la Tonnelle! 💪 That moment you wonder, what exactly are we talking about? Well, it’s simple! The Trail des 6 heures de la Tonnelle, is a race offered in several different formats 🤔. But before we tell you more, you probably want to know where it takes place, right? 😌 It’s at Marcillé near the site of the Tonnelle in Nouvelle-Aquitaine where you’ll spend a fantastic weekend (that your legs won’t forget) 🏃‍♀️. So we’re talking here about a trail, hence an immersion into the beautiful nature of the Deux-Sèvres 🏞️, lucky you! Ready to know what you’ll be in for? 🍖 On the à la carte menu at Trail des 6 heures de la Tonnelle, one single option: a 3 km loop to be completed within 6 hours! 🤯 That might sound like a lot for some, so the event also offers the challenge in a team of 3 or a 6‑person relay! 👯‍♂️ That’s when you think it’s time to bring your squad to tackle the climbs that await you! 🚀 As you’ve probably gathered, this trail is a kind of backyard! The good news is the course is really nice, between steep trails ⛰️ and pretty woods 🌳, you’ll have a blast! How about checking out the videos we’ve shared at the bottom of the page? 🎬

We know, we know, it’s a real challenge we’re putting in front of you, but it’s for a good cause! 💝 And yes, you’ll actually be participating in a charity event, and that’s awesome! The Trail des 6 heures de la Tonnelle supports the organization "Vaincre les maladies Lysosomales" ! 🤝 If you’re not sure what that is, no problem, we’ll explain: these diseases comprise more than 50 disabling conditions whose common thread is a genetic defect causing a malfunction at the level of the lysosome 🔬. And best of all, the more laps you complete during the race, the more you contribute to the cause! Each lap completed (per person) = 1€ donated to the organization, we’re sure this info will give you the extra kick you need to crush the course in two! 🔥

One thing’s for sure, after this trail you’ll surely want to clear your head, and there’s nothing better than a good party (if you’re not asleep yet)! 🎆 That’s exactly what the event has planned for you. Around 7:00 PM, once everyone has finished their race, meet in front of the music for a festive evening 🥳, fueled by local beers 🍻 and tasty treats! 🍲 Alcohol abuse is dangerous for your health, always drink responsibly. If you have a bit of time to spare in the area, we can suggest a few activities not to miss! 😯 Why not take a stroll through the Mines d'Argent des Rois Francs ? 🔦 Or perhaps stop by the Musée Monet Goyon to see vintage motorcycles! 🛵
