It takes place in December and actively supports the Téléthon 💛. The goal is simple: all proceeds are donated to research. For context, the Téléthon funds projects on genetic neuromuscular diseases, but also other rare genetic disorders 🧠. Last year, the sea of runners raised a tidy sum of 11 234 euros, not bad! 😏 This year, with you on the start line, the organizers aim to smash that record and blow past the stats! 📈

As for the course, don’t worry—the profile is ultra-accessible and especially smooth 💨. It’s far from rough mountain trails that fry the thighs, since the elevation gain is almost non-existent, perfect for easing into a steady effort or chasing a personal record 🚀. To tackle this route, you have two options 👯. You can choose the solo option with a dynamic warm-up of 7 km, ideal for giving your lungs a workout without going all-out together 🫁. If you’re driven to compete and prefer team effort, the 2x7 km relay format is the king for lighting up the pack with your dream team 🤝. The pre-race vibe is electric and friendly, powered by good vibes 🎉. There’s no room for stopwatch stress—you’re here to share smiles and sweat in a pure camaraderie atmosphere (unless you’ve got a competitive streak, we won’t hold it against you 🤫). The aim is to push for the good cause! ✅

Once you cross the finish line and endorphins ride high, the adventure doesn’t stop (we’re still in Lyon after all, the capital of gastronomy! 😋). We strongly recommend extending your trip to explore the region 🔎. Lyon is full of classic eateries called "bouchons", where you can savor cracklings, quenelles, brioche sausage...🍽️. To help you digest it all, wander the cobbled lanes of the Vieux Lyona historic district that will take your breath away, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site 🤓.
