L'Al Kress Memorial Mile/Duck Island Fall Mile propose aux coureurs et aux marcheurs quatre options de course : une marche compétitive, un mile pour les filles de 14 ans et moins, un mile pour les garçons de 14 ans et moins, et un mile pour adultes ouvert aux hommes et aux femmes. Conçu pour les compétiteurs axés sur la performance plutôt que sur les fioritures, cet événement simplifié ne comprend ni récompenses ni t-shirts. Il fait partie du SFTC KFOM, de l'Adult Mile Series et de la K&Q Series, et les performances sont éligibles pour les records de l'État du Tennessee.
