No fluff, we go hard here 💪 This is the AlbaTrail à Alban, in Tarn— a true celebration of trail running—and for the 10e édition, the organizers challenge you for a good cause! In addition to setting a bold goal from February for the season's start, you’ll be doing a good deed: 2€ from each registration goes to the association "Imagine for Margo" that funds cancer research and improves daily life for children battling cancer 🫶. During the AlbaTrail you’ll undertake a double battle ⚔️: one for the children and one against the muddy trails and the stubborn branches of the forest 🌳.

But how many kilometers will you be ready to fight through? 😎 7 different challenges kick off from the Alban rugby stadium 🏉 : a non-timed, easy-going walk or nordic at 8.5 kmor 11 km for Sunday athletes ⏱️, the "AlbaTrailhounet" of 8 km and 250 mD+ (a cute little trail) and the "AlbaTrailhou" of 14 km and 500 mD+ (slightly less cute 😬). After that, the challenges get seriously tough, though all tastes are welcome! 😅 The AlbaTrail", the one and only, true trail is a long 26 km and 1 300 mD+, which will wake up the runners (or temporarily take their legs out 🦵). Heads up for the most athletic calves: there’s even more intensity! 🤪 The big boss of the event is called the "AlbaTor" (yes, like the space pirate 🚀) : 61 km for 2 900 mD+! This trail has the power to fascinate you as much as the anime superhero, but you’ll be the race’s protagonist... 🤓 Whichever distance you choose, you’ll still become a running hero! 🦸‍♀️ Because yes, you’ll also have your fans from the very first hour: the children! After cheering you on all day, the future generations of trail runners will also get their moment of glory 🏆.

Hold up, rest isn’t happening just yet ‼️ Since 10 years calls for celebration, we’ll make it special—and with you, it’ll be even better! We know that after a run, a good meal is all we ask 🍲. Consider it decided, and for the evening, a banquet is being prepared by chef Yoan Camps 🧑‍🍳. For your personal info, he’s a certified "master restaurateur" and a trail runner, pretty impressive 🤩. Plus, he’s lining up a menu that isn’t half bad: garbure prepared on site, roquefort cheese, apples from the Alpine Haute-Durance and individual dessert surprise 🎁! And hang on a bit longer, because the evening is just getting started. They don’t do things halfheartedly—they’ll also get you dancing all night 💃. A musical evening, hosted by "les Valpares"! Everything’s set for a wild, unforgettable moment 🎉.

After all that effort, enjoy the Occitanie region! 😉 It’s not in the Vallée du Tarn, in the Albigeois and Alban Mountains, you won’t run out of things to do 🤪. The fresques of Greschny, the Abbey of Ambialet, the churches or the Presqu’île d'Ambialet, you’ll get to stretch your legs properly and learn more about the area 🤗. To visit another town, you’ll just need to put in some miles to discover the beautiful Albi! 📍 If the walk has whetted your appetite, don’t hesitate to head to the local market 🥬. You can sample regional specialties like bougnette, fritons, some washed cheese with chestnut beer or the Gaillac sweet wine... and plenty more delights! 😋
