La communauté d'Amberly organise chaque année une course au profit des Special Olympics North Carolina. Les participants peuvent choisir entre une course en présentiel ou une course virtuelle. L'événement propose différentes options de course et des prix, notamment des récompenses pour les meilleurs performers et des concours de costumes. Un tirage au sort offre à un homme et une femme la possibilité de gagner un an d'inscriptions gratuites aux courses Fit & Able. Les bénéfices sont reversés à des personnes souffrant d'un handicap intellectuel afin de les aider à améliorer leur condition physique et leur implication dans la communauté grâce au sport. Les participants reçoivent un t-shirt et un cadeau de finisseur, et des récompenses sont également disponibles pour les parrainages et la participation en équipe.
