Porté-Puymoren hosts the Trailcomador, a race that favors relief and vertical gain in the landscapes of the Pyrénées-Orientales, inviting everyone to play with the slope. People come for the fresh air and the experience, more than for the clock, in a festive atmosphere and encounters that stay etched. After finishing, extend the experience with Font-Romeu, Mont-Louis and other outdoor interludes that make this day a true story to tell.

Here, we come for some relief, wide open spaces and the landscapes of the Eastern Pyrenees that make you forget the clock to remind you why you run. And since I’m your local guide, I’ll tell you this: in Porté, it climbs, it breathes, and it often ends with a great story to tell 🌿.
The thing that makes the challenge truly unique is its vertical and unconventional vibe: you play with the slope, you hunt the trickiest line, and you pretend to be a chamois… without the horns 🐐.
And then the festive mood does the rest: you come to challenge yourself, but you leave with memorable encounters, encouragement that lasts, and that feeling of having lived a true day outdoors, complete and simple 🎉.
After finishing, don’t rush off: stay a while to enjoy the area. Take a detour to Font-Romeu for a sunny stroll, and swing by Mont-Louis (the fortified town) for a historical interlude that’s worth a look. If you still have legs, go to Lac des Bouillouses for a big breath of calm, or push on to Ax-les-Thermes to unwind in waters that make you forget the slopes 🧖.
