Batavia United Way organise chaque année la Bat Race, qui propose des épreuves pour les coureurs et les marcheurs de tous niveaux. Les participants peuvent s'inscrire au 5 km, au 10 km ou à la course ludique pour enfants. Les trois premiers hommes et femmes de chaque catégorie adulte recevront un prix. Tous les participants recevront une médaille. L'événement est placé sous le thème d'Halloween et encourage les participants à se déguiser. Des prix seront remis dans plusieurs catégories à ceux qui choisiront de participer. Les inscriptions au concours de costumes seront ouvertes sur place le jour de l'événement.
