Attend one of Poland's most magnetic races: a night-time 21,097 km run through the streets of Wrocław, starting and finishing at Stadion Olimpijski, lit up like a spaceship. Live music and illuminated bridges create an electric atmosphere, supported by thousands of spectators until the early hours. At the finish, a unique medal and a night-time recovery on the Oder extend the experience.

Tarczyński Nocny Wrocław Półmaraton is a cult event, a legend that electrifies the running community every year. As the June sun disappears beyond the horizon, Wrocław’s streets transform into a vibrant arena, bathed in neon light, through which a multicolored flood of thousands of dreams, passions, and incredible energy surges!
The distance is the classic 21.097 km, but the race production far exceeds standard conventions. The start and finish are at the monumental and historic Stadion Olimpijski, which, lit up at night, looks like a spaceship. The event’s signature feature: live classical or film music at strategic points along the course, illuminated bridges (of which Wrocław is famous), and a dense, deafening cheer from thousands of supporters who party in the streets late into the night!
After a fantastic finish on the Stadionu Olimpijskiego lawn, you’ll earn a spectacular and unique medal (which, every year, is a small work of art). Then, Wrocław invites you to a recovery night and day in a truly masterful style:
Chill by the Oder at night and Wyspa Słodowa: After the race, don’t rush back to your hotel! Wrocław lives the night like no other city. Head to the lively Oder quays or Wyspa Słodowa to celebrate your success, among thousands of other runners, to the sound of the river and the glow of street lamps, 🌊 the night.
The Market Square of Wrocław and Ostrów Tumski: The next day, during a recovery stroll, visit Poland’s second-largest marketplace, with its stunning Gothic Town Hall. Then head to Ostrów Tumski—the city’s oldest, historic district. Strolling its cobbled lanes, where you can still meet a real gas lantern lighter lighting the lamps by hand, is the perfect mind reset 🏰.
On the hunt for Wrocław dwarfs: A brilliant way to loosen up tired legs safely. Across the city there are already hundreds of bronze dwarf figures hidden all over. Finding even ten of them is a lot of fun and a chance to discover hidden corners of the city 🕵️♂️.
Hydropolis and the Afrykarium of the zoo : If you’re sticking around for the weekend, visit this water-knowledge center, unique and ultramodern (Hydropolis), or the Afrykarium at Wrocław Zoo.
