The Flag Handover Run in Piekoszów is an exceptionally joyful and patriotic event that, every year at the beginning of May, colors the town's streets in white and red. Over a distance of about 10 kilometers, runners carry poland flags together, creating an incredible living flag moving through the heart of the town. The start and finish on Independence Square attract whole families, because in addition to the main race, there are distances for children, turning the athletic effort into a cheerful lesson in history and community.
