La BOTS RACE est un défi d'ultra-endurance qui relie le détroit de Gibraltar, avec départ et arrivée à Tarifa. Les athlètes doivent parcourir un circuit d'environ 1 300 km et affronter un dénivelé total de 24 000 mètres, tout en passant par 10 points de contrôle stratégiques. Vous contrôlez votre propre stratégie d'itinéraire et votre rythme, en choisissant quel côté du détroit vous souhaitez conquérir en premier. L'événement présente un concept de course unique, dévoilé uniquement dans le manuel de course, conçu pour tester votre capacité de décision et votre adaptabilité pendant que vous roulez. Le parcours offre des exigences techniques et la possibilité de découvrir les sierras accidentées du sud de l'Espagne ou les mystérieuses montagnes du Rif, de l'autre côté du détroit, au Maroc, en explorant les paysages qui relient deux continents. Il s'agit d'un test d'endurance, de navigation et de résilience.
