Discover the Tourlandry Loop in Chemillé-en-Anjou, in Maine-et-Loire, a cross-country event held in December under a wintery climate with fairly cool temperatures. You want to know everything about the Tourlandry Loop, we’ll tell you all about it! The commune of the Tourlandry, formerly called Chemillée-en-Anjou, is located in Maine-et-Loire and will whisk you to the heart of Pays de la Loire, not far from the town of Cholet. The race, not to be confused with the Hydrome trail held nearby a few weeks earlier, takes place in December under a winter climate and very cool temperatures. Reaching 20°C would be almost impossible 😅, but everything is in place for you to have an amazing time!
A range of options awaits you: 3 trails and 2 road races, you see, the Tourlandry Loop is all-terrain! On the trail side, you can choose a 17 km or a 26 km and if you’re feeling adventurous, you can even lace up at night for a 13 km with a headlamp 🌃. Beware, you'll tread through forests, fields in mud and earth, which may get slippery so be careful not to end your trail on your backside! As for the road races, it’s up to you to choose between 3 km and 10 km to get warmed up and quietly discover the streets of this Anjou commune or sprint to beat your personal best, your call. ⏱️
You’ll spend a timeless moment on your sporty journey, and to drift even further, we’re offering a XVth-century return to discover the charming Château de la Tourlandry 🏰. Not far from there, let yourself be tempted by the Vine and Wine Museum of Anjou, you can’t leave without discovering the Vin d’Anjou or the sumptuous Camifolia Garden.
