La course BougeBouge Wakefield Covered Bridge combine course sur route et trail avec un week-end complet de festivités en plein air. Les distances proposées sont 3 km, 5 km, 10 km et un semi-marathon (21,1 km), toutes passant par l'emblématique pont couvert rouge de Wakefield et les sentiers pittoresques du parc de la Gatineau. Au-delà de la journée de course, les participants peuvent profiter d'un programme unique : contes autour d'un feu de camp avec Pascal Aubut, atelier d'observation des étoiles et d'astrologie sous le ciel nocturne, et petit-déjeuner festif de Thanksgiving préparé par Les Brûlés. L'événement allie défi sportif et expériences culturelles et sociales, ce qui en fait autant un rassemblement qu'une course.
