Le Checkers Athletic Club organise la course Checkers Christmas 3k Road Race sur la Ring Road du Delaware Park. La course débute à la statue Indian Hunter, située au sud de la boucle. Les récompenses comprennent des trophées pour les vainqueurs masculins et féminins, ainsi que pour les vainqueurs Masters, et des médailles pour les meilleurs coureurs de différentes tranches d'âge, de 14 ans et moins à 80 ans et plus. Une cérémonie est organisée après la course au Checkers Athletic Club sur Hertel.
