Experience a legend of Polish MTB at Bike Maraton Jakuszyce in Jakuszyce (Szklarska Poręba / Polana Jakuszycka). It’s the highest and probably the most atmospheric stage of the circuit, where effort is matched by a mountainous Izery backdrop. After finishing, enjoy recovery at the Lower Silesian Sports Center (DCS) Polana Jakuszycka, then let yourself be spellbound by the high-mountain atmosphere.

Bike Maraton Jakuszyce (Szklarska Poręba / Jakuszycka Clearing), it’s an edition that every true mountain bike enthusiast should have on their CV. If in winter the Jakuszycka Clearing is the capital of cross-country skiing, in summer it becomes a true paradise for cyclists. It’s the highest stage and probably the most atmospheric on the entire circuit!
Once the finish line is crossed, after washing off the rugged mountain dust and hanging the medal around your neck, Jakuszyce and Szklarska Poręba invite you to an amazing mountain regeneration:
Lower Silesia Sports Center (DCS) Jakuszycka Clearing: the finish area itself is a state-of-the-art complex. After the race, you can enjoy the recovery space, dine at the restaurant with views of the courses, or simply unwind on the terrace soaking up the incredible high-mountain atmosphere 🏢.
Kamieńczyk Falls and the Szklarka Falls: classics of the Karkonosze, located a stone’s throw from the marathon routes. The sound of water tumbling down and the cool breeze in a deep, shaded gorge create a natural compression that’s perfect for tired legs after the ride 🌊🌲.
The Death Curve: the famous tight bend on the road from Szklarska Poręba to Świeradów-Zdrój. It offers a grand panorama of the Karkonosze and the Jelenia Góra basin – the perfect spot for a souvenir photo with your bike 📸🏔️.
La Chata Górzystów and its legendary crepes: if your route (especially Mega or Giga) passed through Hala Izerska, you’ve surely crossed this mythical refuge. If not, you must go back! The legendary blueberry crepe is simply the best carbohydrate recharge in the world 🥞🍇.
