La Classique Internationale Marseille-Cassis est l'une des courses point-à-point les plus emblématiques de France. Elle rassemble chaque année en octobre 12 000 coureurs pour un défi de 20 km. Lancée en 1979 avec seulement 700 participants, la course est devenue un rendez-vous international très apprécié. Le parcours commence au niveau de la mer à Marseille et grimpe à travers la pittoresque Route de la Gineste, avant d'atteindre le col de la Gineste et de redescendre vers la ville portuaire de Cassis. C'est une course pleine de contrastes - énergie urbaine, montées montagneuses et beauté côtière - le tout réuni dans un parcours unique et spectaculaire. Les bénévoles du SCO Ste Marguerite veillent au bon déroulement de l'événement, tandis que des manifestations parallèles comme l'Autre Randonnée Marseille-Cassis et la Randonnée Sportive attirent des milliers de personnes supplémentaires qui viennent explorer le massif des Calanques la veille de la course.
