Ending the year with a lovely, friendly run in Calvados is the kind of challenge that will get you motivated! Head to Caen, in Normandy, to take part in “Running between two O’s”, a festive and family-friendly event for anyone who wants to get moving at the end of November 🎉.

In autumn colors (you can’t really beat that backdrop) “Running between two O’s” offers several city routes to enjoy Caen. You’ll find a varied program that can suit everyone. A 10 km women-only race 🏃‍♀️, a Half Marathon, and a 20 km relay (two 10km legs to tackle with your top-notch partner 🤝). You’ll also have the chance to push yourself on the 10 km route offered as well.

If this gathering of athletes is called "Running between 2 O’s", it's because your course will focus between the watercourses of l’Odon and of the Orne 💧. Each race starts and finishes at the stade Hélitas, on Albert Sorel Avenue. The routes cross la Prairie, the grand Caen park which spans 60 ha, also skirting the Louvigny golf course ⛳️ and the Odon, all to give a touch of nature to your race. Then, the loop’s end will bring you along the banks of the Orne to thesouth before climbing back to the finish where you’ll cap your race with your best sprint (or jog if you’re tired, we won’t hold it against you 😅).

For extra fun, you can even come in costume, especially since the best outfits will be rewarded! Another reason to take on Caen’s race with its many activities and guaranteed wild atmosphere 🥳.

After your race, you’ll get to discover Caen and its surroundings, climb to the top of its Castle for sweeping views of the city and to savor its beauty 🤩. To satisfy your taste buds after an intense effort, what better than a meal centered around Normandy camembert? And to aid digestion, a little glass of Calvados, the perfect place to enjoy (always in moderation, of course).
