In Vaulx-en-Velin/Lyon, take part in a muddy 8 km obstacle race in Miribel-Jonage Park, with a climbing wall, sack race and other challenges, where you can bypass the tests and even run in costume. For the bravest, the elite format offers live standings and an exact time, with jokers embodied by bracelets. After the effort, discover the Metropolis of Lyon and its surroundings.
To Lyon, when you’re a little wild, people say you’re a trepaned. So if you’re a real trepaned, come prove it by taking part in the Ruée des Fadas! 🤪
The Ruée des Fadas, it’s an obstacle course that’s completely wild and very muddy 😂. Present in several French cities, the Lyon edition takes place in Miribel-Jonage, a gigantic recreation area of 2,200 hectares at the boundary between the Rhône and the Ain. This is also where you’ll find the Village des Fadas: the place where you can let off steam before and after the race. Karaoke 🎵, dance floor 🕺, foam cannons : we’re here to have fun above all! 🥳
Alright, and what about the race itself? We’re getting to that! The course is an 8 km trail in the mud lined with obstacles! On the menu: sack race, climbing wall 🧗♂️, or a test of strength ! 🦾 Your abilities will be put to the test 😯. If you’re struggling to get through one of the obstacles, no worries! You can simply go around the obstacle and carry on: we’re here to have fun! 👏 The proof: you can even participate in costume! Be creative! 👨🚀
For the boldest of you, there’s an elite 🏆. Kézaco? Those who wish can pay an extra 5 euros to get their live ranking and their exact time ⏱. However, elites are only allowed to bypass 3 obstacles during the entire race! These jokers 🃏 are represented by bracelets. A challenge for the biggest fans 🫵.
Once the race is over, don’t hesitate to explore the surroundings: the Métropole de Lyon is full of things to do! The park is not far from the Groupama Stadium, the home of Olympique Lyonnais ⚽. Inaugurated in 2016, it can be visited and houses the museum tracing the club’s history: 2 activities ready in an afternoon! The film buffs will visit the Lumière Museum 🎥, which retraces the birth of cinema by the two brothers. It’s located on rue du 1er film, named after the fact that the first film in history was shot there! We learn things about Finishers ! You can also enjoy a magnificent city view from the esplanade of Fourvière 🤩.
