The Four Winds Run invites you to discover Épaney in grand airy mode: nature, forest, and that little taste of Normandy. Choose among 5.5 km, 7.5 km, 11 km and 13.3 km to vary the effort and the landscapes. Around Épaney, the scenery matters as much as the course: Falaise, the Château de Guillaume le Conquérant, the Montormel Memorial, and Caen invite you to extend the escape after the effort.
La Course des 4 Vents, it’s Épaney’s big-breath version: the nature, the forest and that little taste of Normandy that clears your head 🌿.
Here, you come to treat yourself: a format 5.5 km if you want to feel the vibe, from 7.5 km (yes, you even two options) to straddle the line between speed and scenery, then 11 km and 13.3 km to chase “the wind after” without making things up! 💨
Around Épaney, the setting is half the job. You pass where the scent of the woods lingers, you push when it opens up, and you finish with the satisfaction of having “taken the air” in the literal sense 🏁.
And after the workout, you stay in the area to turn the outing into a real escape: head to Falaise to see the Château de Guillaume le Conquérant, take a break at the Montormel Memorial for the panorama, or stroll in Caen between the castle and the lively streets. If you want more nature, the Suisse Normande isn’t far for a walk along the Orne or a calm sunset 🏰.
