Héricourt, Héricourt, the disease of love! 🎤 He was spot on Michel Sardou, because yes, you’ll need to run to Héricourt! 🏃‍♀️

Héricourt, we run there… But you still need to know where it is! Between the Massif des Vosges and the Jura 🏔️, at the heart of what is called the " Belfort Gap", in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region

Beyond a historic heritage, notably rich in the Mont Vaudois Fort perched at 544 meters above sea level in a strategic position for the defense of the territory at the end of the 19th century 📈, Héricourt also has a very dynamic athletics club that organizes, among other things, a road race renowned for the speed of its course ⚡️. The first 10 km of Franche-Comté can boast a field of excellent runners as dense as a fine wheel of local cheese! 🧀 The event is even one of the 10 km races in France with the richest field of athletes capable of going under 35 minutes 🚀. Mind-blowing, right? 😅

In terms of the course, the 10 km is organized to run on two large loops through the city center 🔂. The course is flat and rolling and offers 3 passages through the decorated downtown. It’s therefore a sports-first and festive event that’s being prepared! Teuffy, the mascot, a music group and costumes are planned 🥳. The 5 km, meanwhile, has shorter loops. City Run par excellence, the 5 & 10 km of Héricourt will let you chain through great streets, bends, change of direction... 🌃 Like a real driver in your Fiat Panda 🚗, you’ll walk the streets of the town to reach the finish line 🏁. For once, we won’t tell you off if you run a red light or go a bit fast over a speed bump 😜.

After completing your two loops, back to the starting point to finish your race ↪️. You’ll finally get to enjoy this charming town of Héricourt around a good Potée Comtoise. By the way, why not also take a trip to Montbéliard in the Doubs? 😏 It’s just 15 minutes away. If you like the area and want a bit more natural scenery, come back in March for the Vesoul Trail 👍. And to comfort you if you have a poor performance, the event mascot named "Teuffy" will be fully at your disposal for a hugging session 🫂.

Relax, you don’t need chicken legs 🐓 or an IQ below 18 to take part in this beautiful on-road running 😜. With 2 distances on the program, 5 km and 10 km, and 2 youth and kids races (1 km for "The Little Hares" and 3 km for "The Hares" 🐰
