The Ameland Duathlon invites you to a sporting adventure in the heart of Friesland, between the North Sea, dunes and wide Dutch beaches. Choose your format: short, long or duo, and also enjoy children & juniors courses for the whole family. After the effort, treat yourself to a beach break in Nes, a view from the Hollum lighthouse, or a stroll at the Natuurcentrum Ameland.
The Cross-Duathlon Ameland, it’s your ticket to a sports adventure between the North Sea, dunes, and long stretches of sand, at the heart of the Frieze in the Netherlands 🌊.
Choose your format to match your mood: short for maximum fun, long to tell a real story, or a duo version to share the effort and double the memories… and promise, the wind won’t steal all the glory! 🌬️
And if you come with family, it’s perfect: there are kids & juniors routes, to turn the day into a true sports festival, a version of “little champions, big cheers” 🎉.
After the effort, stay nearby: catch your breath at the great Nes Beach, climb theAmeland Lighthouse (the lighthouse) for the view, wander the streets of Hollum and end with a walk in the dunes of the Natuurcentrum Ameland, perfect for couples or families.
