Ready to take on the role of one of the riders from the Giro d'Italia and the Giro di Lombardia? 🚴♀️ Then line up at the start of the 27th edition of the International BGY Granfondo in Bergamo in Italy ! 🤌 This cycling event gets you set for May to dive into the natural and mountainous landscapes of Lombardy. Whether you're an experienced cyclist or a fan seeking new challenges 😎, this race is your chance to shine on the road! ✨ You’ll take off alongside all the other riders, but don’t worry 😉, you can go at your own pace and, above all, at your distance! Here’s how it works 🤓.
When you sign up, you’re not choosing the distance ☝️. You’ll start for a minimum of 89.4 km and 1 400 mD+, the shortest event of the race! 👶 But if you’re a pedal pro 🛞, you can decide not to take the fork that links you to the finish line, but instead keep climbing! The other two routes are much more demanding: 128.8 km and 2 100 mD+ or 162.1 km and 3 050 mD+ 🤯. Long or short cyclosportive, there’s something for everyone! 😋 And for the course, it will surely suit all amateur cyclists who love mountain roads, of hairpin turns and above all, a lot of elevation gain 📈. Rest assured, you won’t even notice it with the camaraderie along the route 🥰. You’ll surely find a riding buddy to share this grand challenge 🤩.
After crossing the finish line 🏁, Bergamo welcomes you with its historic charm 😌. Wander through medieval streets and discover the Città Alta and its majestic walls 🏰. Okay, we’ll admit, there are a few stairs to climb and they’ll likely challenge legs already tired from the day before 😅. Only an hour’s drive 🚗 away, you can gaze at the reflections of the Lake Como or the splendor of the Lake Garda 🏞️. With family or as a couple 🧑🤝🧑, the city is perfect for creating wonderful memories, visiting for example the Accademia Carrara Museum, renowned for its art collections 🖼️, or savoring the local cuisine: pasta 🍝, pizza 🍕, parmesan...
