Motz-Chautagne Tour

We’re in the earpiece—it's time for the cyclists to make their entrance on the track! 🕺 Yes indeed, it’s in Motz 📍, at the end of the month of May 🌻 that the fabulous festival of Motz Chautagne Tour 🚲 is organized. This family-friendly cycling festival 🫶, nestled in the heart of the Savoie 🧀, spans two days to accommodate many race formats, between cyclosportives and MTB. So there will be two days of pure fun awaiting participants at the Motz velodrome 🤠, with a family vibe 👪, where all generations can come together around a love of sport, and cycling especially 🚴.

Speaking of bikes, there’s really plenty to do... 🤯 The organizers have thought of everyone 👯‍♂️, with more than 10 races on offer! 😮 On Saturday, it’ll be more of a showcase for MTB 🚵, and on Sunday the cyclosportives 💪. The race kicking off this beautiful day is the "Motz Cross Country Olympics" (XCO) with a distance of 5 km! ✋ Then, participants can tackle the Motz VTT Cross Country Eliminatory (XCE) over a distance of 1 km 🚀, and the "Motz VTT Cross-Country Short Track" (XCC) with 2 km 🏎️. For these races, you’ll need to be ready from the start 🦵, and especially faster than light! 🌠

Finally, the penultimate event will be a "Biathlon paired with MTB" of 1 km 👌. And to finish, a "Motz MTB Cross-Country" of 2 km under a family-friendly show 😎. For a first day, that’s not bad, right? 🤩 But wait until you see the program for Sunday! 😜 This time, it’s all about longer distances with four cyclosportives: the Cyclo 125 km, the Cyclo 82.4 km, the Cyclo-Rando 58.3 km and the Cyclo-Rando 13.4 km 4️⃣. These four cyclosportives are open to everyone, but we won’t hide that for most 🧐, some prior experience is needed 🤏, as the level of difficulty can be quite high 🔥. But don’t worry, with training and discipline 🧘, there shouldn’t be a problem 😉. With the Motz Chautagne Tour, participants will discover the little corners of the Savoie 🏞️, all friendlier than the next 🤗. For example 👀, riders will pass through the Relais du Chat, the Col du Chat and the Col de l'Ontex 😍, offering stunning views in the heart of the nature and the mountains! ⛰️ You’ll even catch a glimpse of the beautiful Lac du Bourget and its splendid colors. Quick cultural note: the Lac du Bourget is the largest natural lake in France! 🇫🇷 Okay, let’s agree that the Savoie doesn’t just delight the eyes... 🫨 After the race, you can let your taste buds seek a bit of comfort 🫦.
