But the Dead Sea isn’t the only reason this race is a destination worth visiting for runners from around the world. Indeed, the terrain is almost flat, giving competitors the best conditions to beat their personal best ! 🥇🏆 The marathon, almost entirely flat, runs along sandy and gravel embankments. You’ll actually start from the promenade of the city before heading toward the world’s saltiest sea and then along the Israeli-Jordanian border… 🌍 A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, especially since this buffer zone between the two countries is rarely open to the public.
