Cross Triathlon des Falaises d’Ault

If swimming, cycling and running are the three ingredients of happiness for you, we have something friendly to offer 😏. At the beginning of June June in Hauts-de-France 📍, the town of Ault and the Club Olympique de la Bresle organize the fourth edition of the Cross Triathlon of the Falaises d'Ault 🍀. At this time of year, the weather is often sunny and warm ☀️, perfect for enjoying all the events of this triathlon facing the sea 🌊. The event takes place in a stunning setting 🤩, close to the Baie de Somme, at the foot of the vast falaises d'Ault that will watch over the runners throughout the race 🗿.

Okay, the setting is gorgeous, but we still have to think about priorities: sweat and give it your all 🥵. To really sweat, two cross triathlons await the runners, along with a duathlonthe novelty this year 🚨. For the cross triathlons athletes will have a choice between the S distance or the M distance! 🏃‍➡️ There is surely an event made for you 💪. Reminder: the cross triathlon is swimming, cycling (here MTB) and finally running 🤠. If dipping your feet in water isn’t your thing, you can opt for the duathlon S consisting of a running leg, a cycling leg and another running leg 🚀. The advantage of this race is that for each event distance you can decide to go solo or in a team 🙏. As they say, alone you go faster, together you go farther, so it’s up to you, but the Club Olympique de la Bresle gives everyone a chance 😎. Even kids can join the fun: three routes are offered 🧒.

During the course, don’t keep your eyes glued to your bike or your sneakers and open your eyes wide to admire the beautiful nature surrounding you 👀. A large part of the route will run along the sea shore and let you discover all the nooks of Ault 🏞️. You’ll be amazed! 😍 By the way, if you open your eyes wide, don’t forget to open your ears as well because many supporters will be cheering you on along the road 🥳. They’ll be there to encourage you and give you a little boost if you need to finish your race 😉.

Once your race is finished and you’re recovered from the emotions, you can explore the surroundings calmly 🧘. We highly recommend strolling along the Baie de Somme, where you’ll see a wild nature with endless stretches of sand ⛱️. You can head to Crotoy, where you’ll witness a glorious sunset over the Bay 🌄. We also recommend, if you have time, taking a short detour to the Bois de Cise, an exceptional natural site ❤️‍🔥. To finish, the cherry on top 🍰, you can visit one of the many city restaurants to enjoy a delicious fish soup 🎣, mussels from bouchot and many other exquisite recipes 😋.
