Le Dovedale Dash est une course de cross-country de 7,6 km qui attire jusqu’à 1 400 participants et accueille des athlètes de tous niveaux. Le parcours serpente à travers les paysages époustouflants autour du village de Thorpe, près d’Ashbourne, mettant en valeur la beauté pittoresque de Dovedale, dans le sud du Peak District, dans le Derbyshire. Les athlètes parcourent un mélange varié de champs, de sentiers et de terrains dégagés dans les vallées creusées par les rivières Dove et Manifold. L'un des moments forts de la course est la traversée palpitante de la rivière Dove aux emblématiques Stepping Stones, qui exige à la fois vitesse et agilité.
