La course nocturne DTR 10 Mile se déroule sur les sentiers pittoresques du Jonathan Dickinson State Park. Affrontez un parcours aller-retour avec une boucle en forme de sucette, clairement balisé par des flèches réfléchissantes et des panneaux indiquant le sens interdit pour vous guider même dans la pénombre. Des points de ravitaillement en eau, des bénévoles spécialisés dans la course de trail et du personnel médical sont à votre disposition pour vous aider. Le sentier de terre, principalement plat, présente un mélange de tronçons sablonneux et de terrain parsemé de racines, en particulier dans la Pine Wood Forest. Vous devrez affronter des chemins à double voie et à voie unique, ainsi que deux passages sur des ponts. Certaines sections du sentier peuvent être humides en fonction des précipitations récentes, ce qui ajoutera un peu de piment à votre course. Préparez-vous à affronter le parcours avec votre lampe frontale pour vous éclairer. Pour les athlètes qui aiment apporter une touche créative, participez au concours de déguisements et tentez de remporter les prix décernés aux trois meilleures tenues.
