In the Var (Provence-Alpes-C Côte d’Azur), experience an edition marked by the legendary streets of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez starting in March. Five races offer a course that blends seafront, vineyards and hills, including the two-person marathon and the three-relay teams, with a possible costume and a contest. The start of the main event is in Sainte-Maxime, on the Pont du Préconil, with a sporty atmosphere, local tastings and discoveries of the neighboring villages.

Five races on the program to run through the town’s famous streets 🏃♀️ : a 10 km, a 18 km, a marathon in duo, and a relay marathon for 3 relay runners. “No need for a costume in Saint Tropez”? Well yes! Once you choose your distance, your prep isn’t over: you need to craft your costume 🤪. It isn’t mandatory but a contest is held, so treat yourself! 🦸♂️
You’ll be guaranteed to experience the South differently. If you opt for the marathon’s flagship event, the start is in Sainte-Maxime 🏁 on the Pont du Préconil. It’s an energetic and friendly vibe awaiting you in a race known and respected 🎽. You’ll tread a unique course, run along the seafront, pass vineyards 🍇, hills, admire the garrigue : a true vacation route 😴. You’ll even sample local specialties with a glass of wine 🍷 (to be enjoyed in moderation) and the famous tarte tropézienne 🍰. You’ll also visit surrounding towns, not as famous as Saint Trop' but almost. Grimaud, Ramatuelle, Cogolin : you’ll discover them all. It’s in Cavalaire-sur-Mer, home of the Sea, that your tour of the golfe will end 😢.
Take advantage of being in the area to enjoy the region’s wonders 🍋. The panorama is stunning and the villages are all equally charming. Tapenade and Provençal honey will delight you 😋.
