You’re in the middle of living your quarter-life crisis and you wanted to head back to college? 👨🏫 Great news, we’re going to help you blend in! You’re in the right place to reconnect with your past as a party-hard student 🤪, athletic and motivated. This year, it’s time for the ESSEC Business School inviting you to relive your twenties - or to enjoy them - with two road races nocturnal adventures in the streets and on the island of Cergy, in the Val-d'Oise, in the Île-de-France regionnear Paris 🇫🇷. But no need to worry, the organizers didn’t plan any surprise quizzes; you don’t even need to study! 😮💨 Sport-wise, a little training will do, since these are two short distances offered: a 9 km and a 16 km. So bring your backpack 🎒 and your university T-shirt 👕, and join the start of the ESSEC Night Run!
Here’s a good race to ease back into the groove after the holidays and before exams 🖌. The students here will be even happier to hear that the race is on a Friday eveningmid-February and that you’ll have the whole weekend free (for studying or for going out, your call, no judging)... ➡ At Finishers, we also love celebrating races! 🍻😜 Another perk that will make many happy: student discounts have been set up by the school to fight against youth precarity. So, if you’re enrolled at the ESSEC (all campuses), you can participate and enjoy these little perks 😁.
The campus will be your starting point though 📍. So relax, we’re not asking you to sleep at the school! 🏫 No, tonight you’ll be under the stars ⭐, armed with your headlamp 🔦, in the streets of beautiful Cergy. It’s lovely, yes! Even in the dark you’ll see how nice it is to stroll by the ponds, its islands 🏝 and cross all its bridges 🏃♂️. The 9 km route is so and accessible, that it’s even suitable for paralympic athletes! 👨🦽 You can come with your gear and race with your classmates, beating them hands down in a showdown that promises to be as glorious as it is fierce 🔥.
To push hard and give it your all, that’s all well and good, but you also deserve to unwind and have fun! 🍻 Here’s why after the race you can kick back and enjoy the activities 🥳. For the ESSEC Business School, the motto is simple: a healthy mind in a healthy body! And... a bit of fun! 😉
