In October, buckle up, adjust your bib and get ready for a marathon class through the bustling streets, hidden temples and urban landscapes of this island state with 168 islands. Whether you’re into a full marathon, a half-marathon, or a express getaway 🚀, everyone starts at the same level 🫶. You can choose between 310, 21 or 42 km. EVA Air – a 5-star airline ⭐️ – is not only the official sponsor of the race, but also the very first witness to your achievement, since the finish line nearly unfolds under the wings of one of their aircraft, near theSongshan Airport 🛬. The course? It’s grand touring in aerodynamic style 💨. You’ll trace the Keelung River like a calm dragon 🐉, you’ll glide through the Yingfeng Riverside Park, pass over the Huandong Viaduct and cross the bridge Nanhu 🌉. It’s smooth, flowing, almost zen 🧘. The course is flat with a few turns, a couple of climbs to remind you that yes, we’re in subtropical Asia, but overall it’s a gentle road 😌. We hope you’ll be well strapped for the wake-up call ⏰, because you’ll launch at first light 🌅, blessed by a magnificent sunrise (if you’re lucky with the weather) ☀️. But let’s be honest, when it’s to run in a city as dynamic as Taipei, you get up easily 🙌. If running a marathon or a half doesn’t appeal, you can always do the 3 and 10 km for a condensed taste of the capital 😎.

But this event is also a round-trip ticket to an immersive Taiwan culture ⛩️. Cultural side 🧳, this city doesn’t mess around: a getaway to the Yilan County to taste a Kavalan whisky or admire the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial. You can also treat yourself to a climb up the Taipei 101 Tower rising to 508m, it was the tallest in the world before the Burj Khalifa was built. And above all… the cuisine 🥟. After crossing the finish line, you’ll just need to hop a flight to the Raohe Night Market 🌙 for a foodie layover between skewers, dumplings and stinky tofu (we won’t force you to try anything, but it’s a rite of passage 😇). And if your calves survive the race, they’ll enjoy the Wulai Hot Springs, perfect for a well-deserved muscle cooldown. You’ve got it, this trip doesn’t end at the finish line ❌.
