La course de trail Firefly Six Hour est une épreuve nocturne au cours de laquelle les participants doivent effectuer autant de tours que possible en six heures. Le parcours est une boucle qui combine des chemins pavés, des sections de gravier et des sentiers de terre à voie unique. Le centre de la course, appelé « HUB », sert de point de départ et d'arrivée pour chaque boucle et offre des commodités telles que des tables de pique-nique et un éclairage. Il est recommandé aux participants d'apporter leurs propres collations et boissons, car aucun point de ravitaillement n'est prévu. L'équipement recommandé comprend une lampe frontale, des collations, de l'eau et un insecticide. Des conseils pour la course de trail et des consignes de sécurité sont également fournis.
