French Divide, c’est le grand voyage à vélo qui te fait traverser la France de ville à ville, de Strasbourg jusqu’à Mendionde, avec un final qui sent bon le Pays basque 🗺️.
Tu roules sur plusieurs jours, tu changes de paysages comme on tourne les pages d’un carnet d’aventure, et tu arrives ici, dans les Pyrénées-Atlantiques, avec cette sensation rare d’avoir vraiment “fait la France” d’un seul trait 🚲.
Et crois-moi, l’arrivée à Mendionde, c’est pas juste une ligne au sol : c’est un village vivant, entouré de collines vertes, où l’accueil est aussi généreux que les panoramas. 🌿
Après la course, reste dans le coin : va te balader à Espelette pour ses façades et son piment, fais un crochet par Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port pour son charme de carte postale, et pousse jusqu’à Bayonne pour une balade au bord de l’Adour et une terrasse bien méritée 🍽️.
Si tu viens en couple ou en famille, cale une sortie à Biarritz pour voir l’océan, ou une promenade plus douce dans les villages basques autour de Mendionde : parfait pour débriefer, se poser, et prolonger le voyage sans se presser 🌊.
