Saint Nicholas treats all SHOOTO fans! Tickets are available starting at 10:30 AM at the box office for a uniform price of 30 euros, while supplies last. MMA C-Class Requirements

Only athletes with five or fewer amateur fights in Shooto, MMA, boxing, or kick-/Thai boxing may compete. Black belts in any martial art are not allowed. Athletes who hold Purple belt or higher in Luta Livre, BJJ, or similarly ranked in Judo or Sambo may not participate. Wrestlers who compete or have competed in a league are also excluded.

Minors may participate from the age of 17 with written consent from a legal guardian. This ensures a safe and fair competition for youths as well.

All fights take place within the weight classes in tournament format.

Preliminary bouts including semifinals and the third-place fight: 1x3 minutes in protective gear.

All finals bouts: 2x2 minutes in protective gear.

Protective gear: shin guards, gloves (provided by the organizer).

Gloves for all fights are provided by the organizer. Each athlete must bring their own mouthguard and groin guard.

MMA C-CLASS Requirements

Only athletes may participate who have not yet won fights with set round times of at least 2x5 minutes featuring head strikes. Athletes who have had professional fights in kickboxing or Thai boxing are not eligible for the competitions. Wrestlers and Judokas who have competed in state or national leagues are also excluded.

Minors may not compete in C-Class mode, even with parental consent.

All fights take place within the weight classes in tournament format.

Preliminary bouts including semifinals and third-place fight: 1x4 minutes in protective gear.

All finals bouts: 2x3 minutes without protective gear.

Protective gear: shin guards and 10-ounce boxing gloves (must be brought by the fighter).

Shooto Boxing C-Class Requirements

Only athletes may participate who have not yet had fights with set round times of 5x3 minutes in kickboxing or Thai boxing. Athletes with professional fights in kickboxing or Thai boxing are not eligible. Fighters who have more than 10 wins in kick-/Thai boxing or are listed in any federation as B-Class or higher are not allowed to participate.

Minors may not compete in C-Class mode, even with parental consent.

All fights take place within the weight classes in tournament format.

Preliminary bouts including semifinals and third-place fight: 1x4 minutes in protective gear.

All finals bouts: 2x3 minutes without protective gear.

• Allowed techniques (in all classes) include catching kicks, grabbing the opponent’s kicking leg, unlimited clinch (as long as active), knee strikes to legs, body, and head, punches, throws and sweeps (only if the throwing fighter remains standing – otherwise foul), standing submission holds (no guillotines, the thrower must stay on their feet).
• Elbow strikes are prohibited in the C-Class

Protective gear: ankle shin guards and 10-ounce boxing gloves (fighters must bring them themselves).

Ablauf

Each team has 2 coaches free for the competitions. Coaches must wear sports attire and be present with the athlete at the official weigh-in.

The championships are open, meaning athletes from all over BRD can participate. Membership to a federation is not required.
